We sell 4 different sizes for download: Original, Large, Medium & Small. Dimensions shown are in pixels (px) because a digital image has no physical size until its final use has been determined.
This is always the largest size available and is the same size as the original image that was uploaded. If you want the ultimate image quality and intend to print BIG, display on a 4K screen or heavily edit or crop the image, go for Original. This gives you the greatest flexibility now and in the future when you may want to use it for another purpose.
The maximum width or height is 3000 pixels. This is suitable for most digital applications including high resolution and Retina screens. A 3000 pixel image will print well up to around 10-12 inches, depending on your printer’s capability. Choose Large if you intend to print or display on large screens, but don’t require the size and flexibility of the Original.
The maximum width or height is 1920 pixels. This is suitable for full-HD displays and most web applications. A 1920 pixel image will print well up to around 6 to 7 inches, depending on your printer’s capability. Choose Medium if you don’t intend to crop the image and want to use it on a website, digital presentation or in smaller print-work.
The maximum width or height is 960 pixels. This is suitable for digital display at less than full screen. a 960 pixel image will only print well up to around 3 inches. Choose Small if you don’t intend to crop and only plan to use it in web content, blogs, social media posts or presentations where it won’t display full-screen.
